GEORGE CARTRIDGE....SIGN CHALLENGE

Okay for this week, I decided to use a cartridge that pretty much everyone owns, if they have the little bug.....The GEORGE cartridge. The designers were able to use this amazing cut any way their hearts desired....This cut really is amazing because you can do just about anything with it....put words on it, cut out shapes in the middle of it....The basic sign cut is on page 121 of the manually, but of course it is also a foundation key....meaning you can use it with other cuts....I had loads of fun with this cut.....Take a look at all the different amazing designs the designers came up with....Also don't forget tomorrow is the last day to enter for the current contest..If you haven't had a chance to skim through the comments to see the projects, you really must......everyone did an amazing job...Click Contest for more details....Also don't forget to check out our sponsor for this contest; Charlie, her ebay site has so much YUMMY stuff for all of your crafting projects....we all love bling and she has got all those amazing stickle colors.

PLANTIN SCHOOLBOOK...TALLBALL GRASS CHALLENGE

Here is one more take on the challenge this week........For some reason, I am having major problems with Blogger today, won't let me edit ANYTHING .................. so I had to do another post to add Teri Berrios challenge for this week.......Isn't it awesome.........


PLANTIN SCHOOLBOOK...TALLBALL GRASS CHALLENGE

This weeks challenge the designers were asked to use the TALL BALL GRASS cut from the PLANTIN SCHOOLBOOK cartridge (page 69 of manual)....This cut is super cute..Great cut for bordering on a 12 by 12 layout or for wrapping around a gift box..So many cute things can be done with this cut...Just take a look at all the amazing things the designers did.......By the way, don't forget to enter in on the current contest. DOODLECHARMS.......BUNNY CHALLENGE

In honor of Easter next week, the challenge for the designers was to use the BUNNY from the DOODLECHARMS cartridge.....The DOODLECHARMS cartridge is such an awesome cartridge...The cartridge has so many wonderful cuts on it for just about every holiday....The Designers were able to use this adorable BUNNY any way they liked.......They all did a wonderful job, everything is different and fabulous......

CONTEST CONTEST CONTEST..........

Okay so how many of you have WAY to much RIBBON that you don't even know what ya have anymore? Well I will be the first one to raise my hand HIGH..........Our next sponsor Charlie (Charleen Osborne) is going to try and help one of you get some of it organized. My name is Charlie and I started selling scrapbook supplies in August of 2006. I opened up an Ebay store and started selling Heidi Swapp Distressers and charms from Oriental Trading. My business have grown since then. My #1 seller, of course, is Stickles. They add so much to any crafting project! I do alot of special orders for the ladies from the Cricut Messageboard. I've met so many wonderful ladies from my business.
DETAILS OF THE CONTEST
1. Create a card for a baby (girl or boy) using LIME GREEN and PINK for a girl OR LIME GREEN and BLUE for a boy.
2. Use RIBBON somewhere on the card.
3. Use at least ONE cut from ANY Cricut cartridge.
4. Prior bbtb winners are WELCOME to enter.
5. Only 2 entries per person.

PRINTING PRESS...ORIGINAL CHALLENGE

I am not sure about you, but the PRINTING PRESS cartridge is one of those cartridges that I just really haven't used that much and wanted to see how much fun this cartridge could really be; so I decided to use it for this weeks challenge and I must say, that I LOVE the cartridge now. This week the designers were asked to use the ORIGINAL cut from the PRINTING PRESS cartridge on any type of project they wanted and they did an AMAZING job........Boy I sure do love this team.....I get so excited each week to see the AWESOME designs from each of them.

HAPPILY EVER AFTER......CROWN CHALLENGE

I can't believe that I didn't notice that one of the cartridges contained an adorable crown on it.....Wow I so love this weeks challenge....The challenge was to use one of the ICONS from the HAPPILY EVER AFTER cartridge...the CROWN on page 45 of the manual...This cut is adorable.....The designers were able to use this cut any way they liked and they did a wonderful job, but before I show you all their designs, we have a new Guest Designer for this month. Ivy Obeso will be our Guest Designer for the whole month of March and I must say we are all in for a TREAT.....her work is just fabulous......Here is a little bit about Ivy:


By day I am a speech language pathologist and a scrapper by night! Not many people can say they love to have two jobs, but I can! I've been scrapping for over ten years now and loving it more and more every day. I love to take pictures of everyone and everything, envisioning how the LO will turn out. And I've recently gotten into card making and have been inspired by all the wonderful talent everyone has. I have been married to my best friend, a wonderful man, for four years now and we have no children (yet).... :o)!
