BBTB #6 JASMINE CARTRIDGE

This weeks BBTB challenge comes from the wonderful elegant cartridge JASMINE. The ladies were to use the DIAMOND on page 120 of the manual, but the Diamond had to be in black and used in a card...The ladies did an awesome job........We would all love to see your take on this elegant Diamond from the Jasmine Cartridge; so don't forget to link your creations to this thread....

BBTB #5 DOODLECHARMS CARTRIDGE

When the Doodlecharms cartridge first came out, it was one of my favorites....so many cute little cuts on it. So for this weeks challenge, the ladies was to use the (icecne) on page 107 of the manual in a card.........and I must say you are in for a real SWEET TREAT, they all did an EXCELLENT JOB. We would all love to see your take on this challenge; so don't forget to link your Ice-Cream card to this thread.

BBTB #4 GEORGE CARTRIDGE

There is one cut on the George Cartride that I think most of us hardly ever use and that is the BLURB1 & BLURB2 on page 118 of the manual.....So this weeks challenge for the designers was to use this cut. The ladies could use this cut on any type of project they wanted. They all did an awesome job.....We would all love to see your take on this challenge.....remember to link to this thread with your project....

Beetle Swing Card
Black Cardstock (The Paper Cut) - cut 4 blurbs at 4", layer alternating tails
Ritzy Ditzy Glitz - Amethyst, spray onto black beetle body and green wings
Lime Cardstock - cut 2 blurbs at 4" and remove the tails, cut 1/3 off each one and layer for wings
Flourish stamp (Impression Obsession)
Plum ink
Cuttlebug embossing folder Mesh Texture
Punch hole through wings and body and attach together with black brad (Joann's)
Purple Stickles around edges of wings and ends of flourishes
Punch out stars and color with Purple Metallic Marker (Crayola)
Add rhinestones to stars for eyes
Draw smile with Purple Metallic Marker
Swing open wings and write message with Green Metallic Marker (Crayola)

The background paper is Black CTMH. The pictures cutted at 3-3/4 and the quotes cut at 0.5", 1" and 2" regular mode for the white paper and Silhouette for the border.
The bubble gum splash is traced by me and cutted with scissors, and the tittle is George at 0.5" cutted with the Expression. All the quotes are hand written by me, and read as follows.
Mami! ~ guess what! ~ I have Bubble Gum ~ I am making a bubble ~ Roll it ~ Flatten it ~ Wrap around tongue ~ BLOW! ~ ARGGG! ~ one more try ~ try... ~ blow! ~ I can't do it! ~ Practice ~ makes ~ perfect ~ YES,YES ~ YES! Woo-hoo! I did it!.

BITTEN by the BUG CONTEST

To celebrate reaching over 5000 hits to the site since first opening in June, BITTEN by the BUG is conducting their first Contest. We are so thrilled to have Hallmark Scrapbook sponsor our first contest.
One lucky winner will be able to choose any cartridge he/she choosen from Hallmark Scrapbook web site.

So here is the deal,
-create a card......(any type of card) using any of the many cartridges available for the machines and link your card to this message thread for all of us to see.
-You can submit up to two cards.
-Each card MUST contain a cut used from one of the cartridges of your choice.
- The BITTEN by the BUG design team along with a few other people will be the judges and choose the best card.....
-The winner will receive a cricut cartridge of their choice from the many available at Hallmark Scrapbook web site.

BBTB #3 GEORGE CARTRIDGE

Flower is the shift version from the George cartridge, one cut at 2 3/4", one at 3 1/4", and one at 3 1/2" Two of them are popped up.
The hearts were the shift version from the George Cartridge, one cut at 2" and two cut at 1-1/2"
Phrase was printed on the computer with CK Chick font
Tag was hand cut
ink used was Versamark chalk ink in Jumbo Java
misc ribbon and eyelet for tag

The card is a 6 x 6 cut from CTMH white daisy paper. The hears where cut from George cartridge at 4", 2" and 1" with shadow. The shadow cut I embossed with the cuttlebug using Tiny Dots folder and distressed them with Desert Sand Ink from CTMH (paper is also desert sand). I rapped the little hearts with CTMH wire.
The "I LOVE YOU WITH ALL MY" is a CTMH stamp and I heat embossed it with CTMH white powder.
Polka Dots and stripe paper is from Provo Craft Cricut collection.
