CHRISTMAS CHEER.....MUG CHALLENGE

Who said the CHRISTMAS CHEER cartridge had to be solely used for Christmas.......This weeks challenge the designers were asked to use the MUG from the Christmas Cheer cartridge..The Mug can be found on page 126............WOWEEEEEEEEEEE......all of them did a fab job....Some Holiday looking and some not.....They all took the cut to a new level........

We also have a new Guest Designer for the month of May....Nancy Turnbaugh....Nancy does awesome awesome work....So looking forward to seeing her creations for this month...Here is a little bit about Nancy..

First, Iʼd like to say Thanks to Regina for inviting me to be Maysʼ guest designer. Iʼm a wife to a wonderful man, Scott. Our first date was on Valentineʼs Day and knew from then on, we were soul mates. Iʼm a mother to 3 beautiful daughters (ages, 26, 24 & 9yrs) and a grandmother to 3 beautiful grandbabies (4, 2 and a newborn). Although they live in Michigan, we get to stay in touch via the web cams.

I have been crafting ever since I can remember, but I got into paper crafting over the past 9 years and have loved it ever since. I love to alter whatever I can get my hands on, but since I got my bug, I have picked up my first paper love, paper piecing. I have just gotten into making cards since I got the bug and am always looking for new ways to use the machine. I guess you would say my style is eclectic. I love to have so much going on, and love to use ink on everything to make it look old and worn. Like itʼs been sitting in Grandmaʼs trunk in her attic. I love teaching and have done so off and on for the past 6 years or so. But I love the inspiration that I get from all of the awesome crafters out there in cyber land like yourself. Thanks again Regina. This will be such a wonderful month with some great challenges.

WELCOME WELCOME WELCOME NANCY..............

I have not gotten my cricut yet, shhhhhh , i know i know, but i am seriously thinking of getting one and in the next week or so, cause I have a pageant that I have to get ready for and this owuld be awesome to make the posters for my daughter...... Well let me say, i am definitely coming back, and sometime in the future I too will be sending you my designs for a chance at the team....

Wow!! All of the designs are great!! I was so excited about mine being put on display that I sent the link to everyone I know. My mom knows that I have been a huge fan of Regina's for a long time, but she has no idea what a cricut is or anything else. But she is proud of me anyhow. I just wish I would have taken a better picture of mine. Next time I will do better!!!!
