IT'S THAT TIME AGAIN FOR A NEW...........................

CONTEST
We have two awesome companies sponsoring our next contest.
The first company is:

The Coconut Scrapshop is an online scrapping heaven...

Here is a little bit about The Coconut Scrapshop:

What does Coconuts and Scrapbooking have in common?
It's easy for us... U-N-W-I-N-D-I-N-G! That is how the Coconut ScrapShop was born. It's combining our love for scrapbooking in a relaxed, aloha atmosphere. We are a family run business with much help from our 5 year old son and 2 year old daughter. *smile*

The Coconut ScrapShop is a scrapbook site dedicated to making the most of your scrapping time & energy in an Aloha atmosphere~ Our monthly kits are coordinated and always include the latest products from your favorite manufacturers. All of our products are acid and lignin free! Please enjoy some "Aloha" time for yourself while you shop & relax.

At the Coconut ScrapShop we guarantee the lowest prices on the internet. If you find lower price, we will match it! No worries! Our Coconut store is secure, so you can shop with confidence. We appreciate your business! Please do not hesitate to contact us with any questions or comments!
Have a Coco'nutty day,
Jen Glover

They will be giving away a $25.00 gift certificate to one lucky 1st place winner to spend in their online store....

Their online store has some of the latest scrapping stuff around. They also offer lots of other fun stuff on their site from challenges to an awesome COCO-LICIOUS GALLERY with some great projects made from their Design team...So do stop on by and do a little COCO-LICIOUS SHOPPING.

Our 2ND prize sponsor is another online store called:

and oh my their stamps are totally SWEET AND SASSY

They have some of the most sweetest stamps I have ever laid my eyes on...Here is a little bit about

In the fall of 2007, I was on a mission to find a cute knight stamp I could use for my son's 5Th birthday party invitations. I scoured the Internet, but couldn't find exactly what I was looking for, so I decided I'd try my hand at drawing one.
I thought my knight turned out pretty cute. My intention was to photocopy my drawing, but after sharing one of the invitations on my blog, I found that others wanted him, too!
The encouragement from my family and friends was all it took and I decided to pursue the creation of my own line of stamps. So here I am, and it's been one awesome ride! I hope you'll join me as I continue on this journey.
Korin Sutherland

Our second place winner will receive a $20.00 gift certificate to spend at their online store.

Please be sure to pay SWEET 'N SASSY a visit. You are going to fall in LOVE with their cute adorable stamps.

Isn't this Moose the cutest ever, it comes from their new Christmas Collection...I think I might have to get this myself...

OKAY now for the DETAILS of the CONTEST

This one is going to be easy and a lot of fun.
Because I like EVERYONE to be able to participate with certain cartridges that I know everyone has, you need to use either the circle cut from either of the following cartridges:
PLANTIN SCHOOLBOOK
GEORGE CARTRIDGE
ACCENT ESSENTIALS
BUT
you need to make the CIRCLE into some type of
CHRISTMAS ORNAMENT
You can do a layout, card, altered item, etc.
You just need to make sure that there is AN ORNAMENT on your project
made using either of the cartridges...
by the way on the ACCENT ESSENTIALS cart. there are several solid circles.
so
1. Create a Christmas Ornament using the CIRCLE cut from either of the listed cartridges above.
2. You can only enter 2 projects per person.
3. Everyone is welcome to enter...no matter where you live (smile)
4. Please link your project in the comment section of this thread...also your link should go DIRECTLY to your project...please don't put in the comments you can find my project on my blog....because sometimes I can't.....
5. Prior bbtb winners are welcome to enter.
6. BBTB team members are not allowed to enter. (sorry)
7. Contest will run from 10/06 - 10/27 at midnight (pacific standard time)
8. HAVE FUN

Would the circle from the Plantain Schoolbook cartridge be acceptable? I bought the Expression and it came with that cartridge instead of George. If not it isn't a problem. I am looking forward to see what everyone comes up with.

Hi Beate, yes you can use the plantin schoolbook. I need to put that in the rules for the contest...I thought the expression came with the accents also....

Beate said...

Thanks Regina. I'm really excited about the contest. I think that some of the Expressions may come packaged like that. Mine did not though :( I can't wait to get started!

This is my first post. I used george circle at 3 1//2 inches. I then stamped it with CTMH jingle borders. The card is 6x6 and the ornament is attached with 3D foam adhesive.

Thanks,

Hi Christy, you can either email the layout to me or upload it to a gallery somewhere on the internet and then put a link here in the comments as to where the layout can be found...

I wasn't sure about this ... I thought of a few different things and this came to mind after hubby and I wanted to do something a little different with our son this year. We made an Activity Advent Calendar. We have used advent calendars in the past, but this is a family activity one. I have explained a little more on my blog the picture is here. http://leahscarddesigns.blogspot.com/2008/10/bbtb-contest-christmas-family-countdown.html

Here is my first entry for the ornament contest. I embossed the circle with the circle cuttlebug embosser and sanded to show the white core of the cardstock. I used silver stickles on the snowflakes to make them stand out. I don't think my picture show these details very well.

Here is my 2nd entry for the contest. I embossed the circle wiht the swirl cuttlebug embossing folder and inked with gold ink and inked all edges. It says Merry Chrismoose. My pictures did not turn out very well. I hope you can see them well enough. Thanks and good luck to everyone.
